Yesterday was lame. I spent 90% of it focusing all my powers on not throwing up. Then Meg prepared The Magical Stomach Bug Cure: (1) Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup, Ritz Crackers, & 7UP (all of it has to be the real stuff, no off-brand).

I'm feeling much better this morning. We're about to hit the road for a quasi-weekend-vacation. Heading down to Lubbock so I can check out a couple of our stores there, but mainly R & R. There's actually quite a bit to do in Lubbock, apparently.

    K, love you, bye.

First up today is sleepy kitteh (Mittens).

Next we have emo-Basset (Scarlette). She's pretty much always emo.

Then we have kitteh, but head only. And awake.

And finally, here's a book bag I got today at the Amarillo Public Library, Northwest Branch for donating to some reading fund. Or whatever.

Well, I've come to a decision. As of April 1, 2008 I will be leaving Xanga after almost four years of dedication. From April 1, 2008--(?) I will be blogging at my Blogger site full time. Xanga has so few friends to keep me here anymore. No one posts or comments and I have friends who want to comment, but can't without signing up for a Xanga account. At Blogger, you can comment anonymously. No one is left out. Basically, the awesome community I had at Xanga has withered away. I love a lot of things about Xanga. It really is very solid (especially comared to MySpace, may it be cursed forever). And now, I shall leave you with this random lolpresident:

I think Xanga is dying. At least as far as my circle of friends is concerned. If any of you who used to post, but no longer do, are reading this, I miss you and I wish you would post.

I haven't been able to watch or read the speech that Obama made on Tuesday but from what I've heard it was quite epic. He really went out on a limb. The easy, safe political move would have been to throw Rev. Wright under the bus and move on. But he didn't do that. Just from some of the excerpts I've read.... WOW. Very moving. A lot of substance. Not just fluff. Thoughts?

    K, love you, bye.

About Me

  • About me? According to the Compact Oxford English Dictionary: me1 • pronoun first person sing. 1 used as the object of a verb or preposition or after ‘than’, ‘as’, or the verb ‘to be’, to refer to the speaker himself or herself. 2 N. Amer. informal to or for myself. — USAGE The pronoun me should be used as the object of a verb or preposition, as in John hates me or Come with me! It is wrong to use me as the subject of a verb, as in John and me went to the shops; in this case I should be used instead. — ORIGIN Old English. me2 (also mi) • noun Music the third note of a major scale, coming after ‘ray’ and before ‘fah’. — ORIGIN mi, an arbitrary name for the note, taken from the first syllable of mira, in a Latin hymn.
